Welcome to Vuohimäki Camping!
Vuohimäki Camping welcomes the whole family, including pets, to stay at our picturesque campsite in Pihjajaniemi, Savonlinna. Our campsite, spanning over 5 hectares, borders the shore of Lake Saimaa and is only 7 kilometers from the center of Savonlinna, offering plenty of attractions and activities for all ages. In addition to caravan and tent sites, our campsite offers accommodation in various sizes of camping cabins and fully equipped cottages.
We have improved our services by renovating our accommodation facilities and expanding the popular terrace area. We will continue to develop our operations even after this season. This year, we also offer food items from the restaurant, such as hamburgers, hot dogs, salads etc.

Vuohimäki Camping is a lush and inviting campsite conveniently located near the center of Savonlinna.
The reception area is the heart of our site, where you'll find a restaurant with a full license. The terrace invites you to enjoy refreshments and snacks. During weekends, the terrace often hosts performers, and there's occasional karaoke.
On the premises, you'll find amenities such as a mini golf course, beach volleyball/badminton court, dog area, bicycles, and outdoor games, all available for guests at no additional cost. From the reception, you can rent a stand-up paddleboard, electric scooter, canoe, or rowboat for water adventures. Depending on your accommodation, the distance to the beach is approximately 300-700 meters. The beach area features saunas and a communal hut for a relaxed evening get-together.
The campsite terrain gently slopes down towards the shoreline of Pullinlahti, facing the direction of the sunset. The area is mainly grassy, with mostly paved main roads. The roads to the camping spots are well-maintained, mostly gravel-based, and easy to navigate. The campsite is terraced, and the terrain may be challenging for those with mobility issues, especially when moving towards and away from the beach.
Vuohimäki Camping has become increasingly popular year by year, having served travelers for over 40 years. We continuously enhance our services and operations and warmly welcome customer feedback.

Caravan and tent area
Plenty of caravan spots. Most of the spots come with electricity. The number of tent spots has been increased even further
Camping Cabins
Camping cabins for 2 and 4 persons. In the smaller ones, there is a double bed, and in the larger ones, a double bed and a bunk bed .
Equipped cottages
Cottages for 4 or 6 people. The cottages feature a private toilet, shower, and kitchenette. 1-2 bunk beds and a convertible sofa bed, open-plan kitchen-living room
