Welcome to Vuohimäki Camping!
Vuohimäki Camping welcomes the whole family, including pets, to stay at our picturesque campsite in Pihjajaniemi, Savonlinna. Our campsite, spanning over 5 hectares, borders the shore of Lake Saimaa and is only 7 kilometers from the center of Savonlinna, offering plenty of attractions and activities for all ages. In addition to caravan and tent sites, our campsite offers accommodation in various sizes of camping cabins and fully equipped cottages.
We have improved our services by renovating our accommodation facilities and expanding the popular terrace area. We will continue to develop our operations even after this season. This year, we also offer food items from the restaurant, such as hamburgers, hot dogs, salads etc. Check the menu here
The campsite is closed for the 2024 season. We will reopen in spring 2025. We will inform you when the booking calendar opens for 2025

Vuohimäki Camping is a green and cozy destination conveniently located near the center of Savonlinna.
At the heart of the campsite is the reception area, which includes a fully licensed restaurant. The terrace area invites you to enjoy refreshments and delicious food and serves as an event venue during the summer. Check out the summer 2024 events HERE.
The site offers a wide range of activities, including a mini-golf course, billiard and ping-pong tables, beach volleyball and badminton courts, an outdoor gym, a dog park, bicycles, and yard and board games, all available free of charge. At the reception, you can rent a SUP board, canoe, or rowboat for water adventures. The beach is about 300–700 meters from the accommodation, depending on your location. At the beach, you'll find saunas and a communal lean-to, perfect for relaxed evenings.
The terrain of the campsite slopes gently down to the shore of Pullinlahti Bay, facing the sunset. The area consists of grassy fields, and the main roads are mostly paved. The roads leading to the caravan sites are in good condition, mostly gravel-based, and easy to drive on. While the terrain is terraced, it can be challenging for those with limited mobility, especially when moving to and from the beach.
Vuohimäki Camping is becoming more popular each year, having served travelers for over 40 years. We continuously develop the area, our services, and our operations, and we welcome customer feedback.

Caravan and tent area
Plenty of caravan spots. Most of the spots come with electricity. The number of tent spots has been increased even further
Camping Cabins
Camping cabins for 2 and 4 persons. In the smaller ones, there is a double bed, and in the larger ones, a double bed and a bunk bed .
Equipped cottages
Cottages for 4 or 6 people. The cottages feature a private toilet, shower, and kitchenette. 1-2 bunk beds and a convertible sofa bed, open-plan kitchen-living room
Reception with alcohol serving rights (A-rights)
The reception building features a large and magnificent, partially covered terrace where you can enjoy refreshments and and the delights of a delicious menu.
