Fire pit with shelter "laavu"
At the lower part of the camping area, near the equipped cottages, you'll discover "laavu", which is a fireplace with a shelter. This cozy spot allows you to spend time outdoors and cook over an open fire. For more specific location details, feel free to inquire at the reception.
"Laavu" is freely accessible for our guests, providing a delightful setting for various outdoor activities."
Paid activities
From the reception, we rent the following equipment at a price of €10/hour:
- SUP board (2 available)
- Rowing boat
- Canoe
Paid games
- Pinball machine (inside the reception) 1 game/€1, 3 games/€2 (operates with €0.50, €1, and €2 coins)
- Outdoor Billiards (on the reception terrace) price €12/hour (charged in €0.20 cycles)
Dog Enclosure
For our furry friends, we have a specially designed dog enclosure near the reception area. Dogs can roam freely within the enclosure at their owner's responsibility. The area is equipped with a waste bin and cleaning supplies for easy maintenance.
We have a wonderful stick library for dogs, which is reportedly the only one in Finland. The stick library is located in the dog enclosure
Moreover, right next to us, you can explore the magnificent Pihlajaniemi nature trails, offering an excellent opportunity for outdoor activities with your dog.

Activities in the nearby area
There are also activities available just a few kilometers away. In Pihlajaniemi, there are two horse riding stables. Vuohimäki Riding Center, known for its OperaGames horse riding competitions held every July, and Sari's Stable, which is within walking distance. Right next to Vuohimäki Riding Center, you'll find the Soininmäki nature trail. A few kilometers away, in Kalastajakylä, there is a disc golf course, a public beach, and a nice playground for younger children.

Vuohimäki riding center
Full-service riding center right next to the camping area. The annual OperaGames show jumping competitions are a must-experience at least once. In 2024, they will be held from July 5th to 7th. The accommodation capacity is nearly full that weekend
The nature trails in Pihlajaniemi
Nearby, right from the yard of the nearby Vuohimäki riding center, starts the Soininmäki nature trail. Next to the starting point, there are a few domestic animals that you can admire. The starting point address is Vuohimäentie 40. The trail is 9 km long and is marked with yellow signs, and you can also divide the journey into shorter sections
Frisbee Golf
A few kilometers away is the Kalastajakylä Disc Golf Course (free for users but requires personal equipment). The area also features a public beach and a fenced playground for children. The address is Onkimiehentie (

Pets are welcome!
You are welcome to bring your pets along.
We love pets and allow them in almost all cottages. Please keep your pet on a leash and ensure that it does not cause any inconvenience to other guests on the premises.
We have set up an enclosure near the reception for dogs, where you can let them roam freely. The enclosure is equipped with a trash bin and cleaning tools for waste. The use of the enclosure is at the discretion of the guests, and they are responsible for their pets. Please do not leave your pet unattended in the enclosure.
